Ore in SystemAll of the asteroid belts are Pyrox, and only Pyrox, obviously this is not good. In addition there will always be a Small Arkoner and Bistot Cluster. There will be the typical random Ore anomaly appearances too. The primary rock mining in null involves Asteroid Clusters: The IHub is upgraded to Prospecting Array 4, so there will be Ore Anomalies depending on the Industry ADM. Null sec cluster rocks are much larger than high sec, typical rocks are 200,000-400,000 m3 each. If the ADM is Level 2 there will be a Medium Asteroid Cluster with Arkoner, Bistot, Pyrox, small amount of Mercoxit. If the ADM is Level 3 there will also be a Large Asteroid Cluster with Arkoner, Bistot, Omber, some Mercoxit. If the ADM is Level 4 there will also be an Enormous Asteroid Cluster with Arkoner, Bistot, Kernite, some Mercoxit. If the ADM is Level 5 there will also be a Colossal Asteroid Cluster with Arkoner, Bistot, some Crokite, some Mercoxit. (Omber, Kernite, Crokite are always smaller amounts) The Industry ADM is raised/lowered based on the m3 amount of mining in a system per day. Ice mining contributes to the Industry ADM so that makes raising/maintaining the Industry ADM in 6L78-1 much easier. (The Industry ADM decays 1% per hour so it requires mining to maintain it) If an Ore anomaly is cleared it will respawn after this amount of time: Small in 1 hour Medium in 2 hours Large in 3 hours Enormous 4 hours Colossal in 5 hours (Note we will not get any Colossals) An anomaly will automatically respawn after 4 days if it has not been cleared and the appropriate ADM exists. Normal null mining would be Porpoise and Covetor, no ORE equipment. There will be no one coming to save you so avoid Rorquals/Orcas but feel free if you wish too, but they will die. There is no AFK mining in null, neutrals will kill you, battleship/battlecruiser NPC rats spawn regularly and they will kill you too. Solo miners will have trouble mining, when NPC's spawn you may have to ask for help if anyone is ratting or switch to a combat ship, kill the NPC's then back to mining. |
